okay! so I watched Christmas Carol and Fantastic Mr Fox(:
hmmm, Christmas Carol was slightly too dark for a christmas tale actually
but it was good how they used lotsa actual christmas carols for the background music to put the whole movie into perspective
it was definitely a refreshing version of the classic which I felt needed no re-telling
Fantastic Mr Fox was AwEsOmEzXzXzX
from the graphics to the story-line, it was sheer entertainment through and through
and there was a good balance of touching and hilarious moments
so I seriously recommend Fantastic Mr Fox
but other than the movie watching and the 3-hr afternoon naps
life after O's is mundane
I perceived it to be more enjoyable and, well, less boring
but I have so much time on my hands I wish I could give some away
on the other hand (pun intended), I should really start getting serious about my harp practice
the competition in Wales will be next year, 5-7 April
and I really am lacking behind
but a blister on my right index finger is hindering proper practice):
so every string I pluck with the right index hurts like *&^%$#@

Boys Over Flowers might very well be the best remedy!

When I'm nervous, I feel like shitting
okay I am seriously going to suffer from a nervous breakdown/cardiac arrest gahhhh
/edit
Mparty last night was fun fun fun Heather, Cheryl Seah and Thaddeus picked me up from the Serangoon MRT bus stop and we headed to Zirca when the taxi approached zirca, it was madness the queue to enter was so long! but anyway, we met Gracelynn and Delane and we joined the VIP queue which was mainly for Barker guys and their friends me and Heather were quite scared cos the maltitude of people trying to push their way into the entrace was extremely overwhelming and the bouncers were super strict the way they scrutinized our ICs and faces was quite disturbing but soon we got in(: It was definitely colder and darker than I'd expected and more misty too honestly, zirca has quite an awesome clubbing ambience but the music yesterday was kind of below par for the 16 year olds anyway the DJs played mostly electro which was retarded to dance to so 80% of the time i was either standing or sitting around while the other 20% of the time I was TRYING not to embarrass myself while trying to "dance" but I prefered being on the 2nd level of Zirca where there are more couches and all that shizz where we had a macroview of the party on the first level halfway through the party a large majority of Barker guys came up to the 2nd level and started dancing quite a bit but I must say they dance really well ACS must have imbued quite a strong performing arts culture in the curriculum(: well lotsa other stuff happened as well but I'm not really in the mood to blog about it some of them I'm not entitled to anyway I apologise for this vague and "I'm-not-in-the-mood" post

gahhh I really need to shit.

A Family Affair
So me and SamKang went to the Barker fair today surprisingly it's quite enjoyable probably because I was amongst such awesome company(: not just SamKang but Jeanette, Delfina, Bindhu and "Heather and co." I think Barker boys should be really really grateful for their beeyooteefull campus In comparison to PL, the barker campus is really much more conducive me and SamKang and sometimes Jeanette were walking around most of the time and I must say that the bands that played at the fair were not bad(: although some of the bands had members that looked older than my parents, they sure know how to rock! but I was actually disappointed that I didn't see NathanHartono there shucks right plus, the helium balloons were all sold out so I had to settle for balloon sculptures which were pretty too(: SamKang and I shared laksa for lunch the laksa tasted, wierd? it didnt taste like the normal laksa that'll be sold anywhere else but it was nice nonetheless(: SamKang and I wanted to dedicate songs to each other but one of the media students were like "Oh we're not taking any more dedications" then I was like "Oh really, like absolutely no more?" "yea, you can come back for the next funfair" -.- so I decided to probe further "Are y'all going to be playing Party In The USA by Miley Cyrus anytime today" then he said "nope, but you can come back for our next funfair" -.- -.- but most of the time spent was just walking around and looking at interesting stuff that's the problem with funfairs you spend so much money on the tickets, but at the end of the day you never actually finish spending them left the fair at bout 4pm and just as we left the gates, we realised that there was a portion of the fair that was outside the school campus that had rides that seemed superbly fun like viking and carousel and stuff and like wth? I actually would have finished using my tickets if I've realised that those rides actually existed at the fair whatever happened to publicity? so anyway, headed home for some farewell party for my parent's church friend everyone seemed to have forgotten to bring their camera today so I apologise for the pictureless post 2nd day of post-O's seem tiring already I don't know if I can keep up going out and partying almost every single day maybe hibernating was a better idea
\Edit
if mum allows, I'm going with Heather tomorrow to shop for my MParty outfit(: MParty's on monday night at Zirca I know right "Charity's going clubbing already?!" It's a party for 16 year olds and above(: booze only for 18 years and above

Prologue
okay I'm finally finally back from the hustle and bustle of the most of 2009
school was great, tiring
but still great(:
Yes, O's are finally over and I just came back from a party at Phua Su Ann's and Anisha's house
Party was awesome, kudos to them both(:
Anyway, thought I'd summarise events of 2009 with pictures
feast away(: [not in chronological order]
Methodist walk at ACS(I), SamKang and I(:
SamKang,Althea and I had the tradition of buying donuts every fusion(:
and the stupid thing that 3 of us did at ACS(I) hahaha
2009 Sports Meet, CHEW HOUSE FTW
Played at Jan's wedding IChallenge!
I'll miss you guys from our soccer team so much
you guys were the essence of the enjoyable moments in secondary school
thnks fr th mmrs(:
Flag Day! Mabel, MinLin, LiMin, Suk It's quite sad and pathetic that we only had ONE proper clique outing
where the whole clique was actually present (and that includes Clara!)
but you guys were always there to spread the laughter around
and support each other when needed
-CLIQUE CLAP-
hahaha
National Day Parade in PL
Really proud of my sis cos she's playing the TUBA
right at the back of the band contingent
and she's like this scrawny sec 1 kid
and the tuba is like prolly bigger than half of her
Racial Harmony Day! 4A1
I have a love-hate relationship with this class
sometimes they can really piss me off with their unnecessary competitiveness
while other times they can be really supportive
but it really has been a great 2 years with you guys(:
SNYO concert
okay I look UGLEH here but I would like to direct your attention to the bouquet of flowers
it's given by Yanni, Joel and Christine
they're like the epitome of support and encouragement
that bouquet was really expensive plus they watched the whole YO concert
despite me only performing 1 song and that they don't really appreciate classical music
Okay I don't even know what's the official name of our cell
if I'm not wrong it's OA cell
haha but anyway you guys really bring laughter and cheer every Sunday
taunting Christine and all that
(:
RMUN
it was really really interesting
debating about global issues really widened my scope of education
and despite some obscene moments during the D&D
RMUN was actually fun(:
The family on the flyer(:
This is dedicated to all my juniors:
the CCA you are in is not simply a cca
but it is a family and a community of music makers
batches who have gone before you have built up the cca to what it is now and I hope all of you will come to appreciate it's uniqueness and intricacies
Having taken a macro view of the cca as of now,
reforms are needed to be introduced to the administration of the ENTIRE cca
although syf is in 2011
preparation starts now.
Stephanie Tan you are the most eccentric junior ever but cca will never be the same without you(:
Aboard the SingaporeFlyer on my 16th birthday!
/Edit
So anyway, with bout 2-3 months of holidays ahead of me
I'm kinda free
So ask me out!
but of course it depends on who you are and what ar your motives(:
OH WATCH NEW MOON WITH ME?!

he asked this really interesting and very lame riddle
